Print as few as 200 presentation folders with a price to suit. Small orders of presentation folders are no longer cost prohibitive. Gateway Printing has introduced a slim line presentation folder which comes in at around two thirds the price of traditional folders. Featuring plenty of room for your A4 sheets this folder has the capacity for print on both inside and outside covers.

Traditional Presentation folders are expensive because most of them have to be printed on a bigger press (an A2 press not A3). A3 presses are cheaper (to run and to buy) than an A2 press. Also they have to spend time on three printing presses instead of one. A normal flyer has just one run - the ink. A folder has three: the ink, then the laminate, then the cutter (a mechanical version of the good old cookie cutter). They can cost anywhere between $2.50 and $8.00 per unit depending on quantity, how much artwork time goes into the look and how many extra parts there are to the template (flaps, gussets, CD pockets). This is one of the reasons we introduced the slimline (above). Money can be saved by using an existing die (cookie cutter). Custom dies like the scalloped flaps of Tradewinds folder shown at right ad extra setup costs to a project. |
