Gateway Printing is a Green Stamp accredited printing firm. As part of our continued efforts to lead as a responsible member of the Western Australian business community we have implemented the best practice initiatives required to obtain this valuable certification.

As with any of our activities we strive to maintain an environmentally responsible mix of practices and set targets for future improvements.

These initiatives include:

• Reduction in the amount of chemicals used in the production process through the use of computer to plate technology.
• Employment of correct storage practices associated with chemicals, inks and other hazardous substances.
• Prevention of pollution, focusing on minimising release of contaminants into the environment and efficient use of raw materials to conserve natural resources where economically viable.
• Diversion of waste products from landfill through recycling and re-use of solid waste where possible.
• Gateway Printing strives for continuous improvement through the ongoing Training of staff and assessment and review of work practices to minimise environmental impacts.
